Penetration Form of Inter-Hole Cracks under Double-Hole Blasting Conditions with Inclined Fissures

چکیده
During blasting construction in tunnel engineering, an inclined fissure near the blast hole produces “Z” type of over-excavation and subsequently affects overall effect stability tunnel. In this work, dynamic caustics testing was used to study burst propagation mode penetration form explosive cracks at different positions between holes under double-hole conditions. Results showed that existence gently changed law stress wave. The dominant fracture surface formed vertical direction borehole fracture. Finally, crack penetrates “Z”-type over-excavation, which analyzed by test. expansion velocity reached maximum reflection explosion wave then decreased with attenuation intensity. peak increasing distance prefabricated borehole, intensity factor tip immediately its value after detonation, oscillation decreased. These research results can serve a basis for reducing condition optimizing parameters.

Finite Plate with Circular and Square Hole under Partial Loading
In this paper a general analytical solution is obtained to find stress distribution in a finite elastic plate with a circular or square hole subjected to arbitrary biaxial partial loading using modified boundary condition by assuming plane stress conditions. The method employed is based on solution of circular hole in finite rectangular plate. This plate is mapped to circular ones and the parti...
متن کاملInter-valence-band hole-hole scattering in cubic semiconductors
Transitions between valence subbands resulting from hole-hole scattering in cubic semiconductors have been analyzed in the frame of Coulomb interaction of valence electrons in the Luttinger-Kohn representation. Expressions for transition rates are derived. Calculated rates for transitions between lightand heavy-hole bands are presented for germanium. Hole-hole scattering has remarkably differen...
متن کاملBuckling Analysis of Rectangular Functionally Graded Plates with an Elliptic Hole Under Thermal Loads
This paper presents thermal buckling analysis of rectangular functionally graded plates (FG plates) with an eccentrically located elliptic cutout. The plate governing equations derived by the first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and finite element formulation is developed to analyze the plate behavior subjected to a uniform temperature rise across plate thickness. It is assumed that the ...
متن کاملInteraction of Dynamic Cracks with Inclined Interfaces
Catastrophic failure of any brittle structure under dynamic loading consists of dynamic crack initiation, propagation, curving, branching (both micro and macro) and branching instability. However, the failure is much more complex in case of layered materials which has interfaces. In these materials, other than above crack mechanisms the crack can also deflect to propagate along the interface or...
متن کاملBlack Hole Boundary Conditions and Coordinate Conditions
This paper treats boundary conditions on black hole horizons for the full 3+1D Einstein equations. Following a number of authors, the apparent horizon is employed as the inner boundary on a space slice. It is emphasized that a further condition is necessary for the system to be well posed; the “prescribed curvature conditions” are therefore proposed to complete the coordinate conditions at the ...
